Woman Killed, Daughter Injured in Nahariya Taxi Collision

A 67-year-old woman died after she and her daughter were struck near Arena Mall; police have opened an investigation.

A fatal road collision in Nahariya claimed the life of a 67-year-old woman and left her 27-year-old daughter moderately injured. Emergency crews were called to Sderot HaNassi Ben-Zvi after a taxi struck the two pedestrians near Arena Mall.

Paramedics performed resuscitation and rushed both women to Galilee Medical Center, where the mother was pronounced dead. Her daughter remained conscious while receiving treatment for limb injuries. The 76-year-old taxi driver was treated for light injuries. Police traffic investigators from the Asher district are examining the circumstances of the crash.
