More than 1,000 boys and girls took part in Kiryat Bialik’s 11th annual Mayor’s Football League. Students from second through 11th grade competed in 100 teams across eight age divisions, playing 232 matches over three weeks.
City officials describe the tournament as both a sporting event and a community education project. Alongside competition, organizers emphasized perseverance, responsibility, teamwork, fairness and mutual respect. Mayor Eli Dukorsky thanked coaches, referees, coordinators, families and municipal staff for creating an experience that continues to strengthen young people’s connection to the city and to an active way of life.
