A youth basketball delegation from Nahariya combined competition, learning and community outreach during a visit to the United States. Players stayed with host families, met members and supporters of the local Jewish federation, and presented the story of their city. Two players also shared personal experiences from the war.
The group played friendly games at Ramah and Camp Veritans, joined a community Shabbat service, visited the Brooklyn Nets’ training complex and toured Madison Square Garden. Team members said the journey became much more than basketball: it strengthened ties between communities and gave the teenagers an opportunity to represent Nahariya with pride.
